A luxurious and exquisitely furnished Grand Canal apartment with direct views across to the wonderful Salute Church. It is just a few palaces up from the Gritti, in an extremely pretty and central position, only a few minutes from San Marco and from Campo Santo Stefano, yet at the same time a haven of peace and tranquility.

According to legend this Palazzo was the House of Desdemona, a noble Venetian lady who fell victim to the mad jealousy of her husband, a member of the Moro family. Shakespeare made her the tragic heroine of his play Othello.

The apartment is on the ground floor with private water access, and has three enormous windows with balconies onto to the Grand Canal. It has a vast main salon with separate living areas and a central dining area, furnished in classic style with all modern comforts and exquisite original antiques. Fortuny fabrics and excellent linens adorn this beautiful apartment.

It has two double bedrooms - the larger of the two is twin (can be one king size bed) and the smaller a double bedroom, both with en suite bathrooms. There is also a modern and well equipped kitchen.

This apartment is luxury standard and competes with only the highest standard hotels, only for those clients seeking the absolute best in Venetian homes, in terms of level of comfort, style and - most of all, position.
